Trust & security
Publishing to your website is a matter of trust. Here’s how we earn it.
Plain answers to the questions careful people ask.
Your keys live in a locked vault
The passwords and access keys you connect go into a write-only encrypted vault. They never sit in our application database, and the worker that writes your articles can't even see them. Not us, not the articles, not anyone.
Nothing goes live without your say-so
Approval is the default on every plan. Auto-publish exists — but it's a switch you have to flip yourself, and you can flip it back anytime. Your website stays yours to control.
Every fact has a receipt
Every article shows its sources: the quoted fact, the link, and when it was checked. Your worker never invents a statistic. A separate editor scores each draft on accuracy against those sources — and you see the scores.
“Live” means live. We check.
Hivly never marks an article “live” unless it can verifiably see it on your public site. Drafts say draft; pull requests say “awaiting your merge”. Every month it re-checks and confirms what actually went out.
Everything published is yours
The articles live on your website, under your name. If you leave, they stay. Full stop.
Leaving is clean
Delete a worker and everything it holds is removed — with a type-to-confirm step so it can't happen by accident. Your account, your email, your sessions: all manageable, all deletable.
Even what it learns about you is yours to see — and erase.
Everything your worker has learned from your edits is written in plain sentences on a page you can visit. Disagree with a lesson? Forget it with one click. It never argues, and it never keeps hidden notes.
